Installation

To use a DYMO Label with our PC Software on your Windows computer, you need to always make sure you have the correct and desired printer driver installed. When your DYMO Printer is initially connected, the printer driver installation window will then automatically open. Follow the on-screen instructions as your computer device installed the printer.

If the DYMO Label Printer is already installed on your computer, but is not working with your PC Software:

1. Unplug the USB cable from your DYMO printer.

2. Open the Windows Start Menu and select the "Devices and Printers" option, "Printers", or "Printers and Faxes".

3. Right-click on DYMO Label icon and select "Remove Device" or "Delete". Then click on "Yes" or "OK" to delete the driver.

4. Plug the USB cable back in to your available printer. A driver installation window will then open automatically.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions when your computer finishes up with the reinstallation the printer.
After the driver has been installed, the compatible DYMO labels will become available the next time you log in to our PC Software.

Offset Printing

If your DYMO Label printer is printing labels offset, this is usually caused by the label spool sitting loose in the printer. In order to resolve this issue, re-seat the label spool in the printer by following and implementing this guide.

Multiple Labels Used with Each Print

If your DYMO Label Writer is feeding multiple labels with each print, there are two reasons why this may responsible:

1. The label spool is sitting loose in the printer. To re-seat the label spool in the printer itself , follow this guide.
 
2. A dirty optical sensor in the printer. Feed the Label Writer Cleaning Card through the printer with at least 2 to 3 times. The Cleaning Card and its instructions are included with your printer itself. 

Print Quality Problems

If your DYMO Label Printer is printing blurry, smudged or faded images on your labels, this is most of the times caused by a dirty roller or print head. Feed the Label Writer Cleaning Card through the printer with utmost 2 to 3 times. The Cleaning Card and its all instructions are mentioned with your printer.
